Dudley Council invites bids for £100k services job


Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council has issued a tender alert for a refrigeration maintenance contract worth almost £100,000.

The council says it is “looking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor” to carry out the repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment for Dudley Catering and Client Services.

The contract is scheduled to begin on August 1st 2012 and last for four years. All work will be carried out in the West Midland boroughs of Dudley and Sandwell.

The council has put the value of the contract at between £95,000 and £97,000.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council said interested parties have until May 25 to submit their tenders and confirmed the contract was suitable for smaller suppliers.

It added that the contract will be awarded based on the “most economically advantageous tender” in terms of the criteria stated in the contract documents.
