This year’s CEDA Conference and Grand Prix Awards have begun at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire.
The cream of the distributor industry is gathering for the two-day event, which comprises meetings, workshops, a business day, networking and the gala awards dinner.
Today’s programme sees both the CEDA and Cedabond AGMs taking place, as well as a Cedabond suppliers meeting followed by its networking and awards dinner in the evening.
Tomorrow will be CEDA’s business day on the theme of ‘Making the Difference’. Guest speakers including Peter Martin, vice president of CGA Peach, Paul Goodale, director of Epicurean Holdings, Allister Richards, MD of Gather & Gather, and Nathalie Gibbs, creative director of Black Sheep design agency, will discuss various aspects of the hospitality and foodservice market. Keynote speeches by Geoff Ramm, Tim FitzHigham and LJ (Laura-Jane) Rich will explore customer service, inspiring businesses and technology, respectively.
Seminars will also take place on the subjects of filling the skills gap, F gas regulations and digital marketing.
The event will be rounded off with CEDA’s prestigious Gala & Awards Dinner, which will crown the winners of small, medium and large projects categories and an overall winner, along with the new rising star accolade and suppliers’ outstanding customer service awards.
