Director General sought for distributor association

The Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA) has posted an advertisement announcing it is seeking to appoint its first ever Director General.

Peter Kay, currently Director of the association made it known earlier this year that he would like to retire after the 2015 annual conference.

The CEDA Board have decided to start the recruitment process now to find a replacement now, with a view to the successful candidate commencing their new role in the Autumn of 2014.This will allow for plenty of time for a full, considered and smooth handover to take place.

Kay tells Catering Insight: “I have had active involvement with CEDA since the early 1980s and have seen many changes which have taken the association forward into a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

"The new role of Director General will support the goals and postive growth of CEDA, and I also look forward to continuing to give my support in a slightly less demanding role.”
