Ali Group warewashing brand DIHR has beefed up its offering to UK dealers by introducing a new range of kit.
The company this week launched the Optima 400 and Optima 500 glasswasher and dishwasher lines, strengthening its family of undercounter machines.
The Optima lines incorporate two wash programmes that feature total drainage of the wash tank water on each cycle. This means that clean water is used on each washing cycle, according to DIHR’s manager for the UK and Ireland, Robert Kuhner.
“By using clean water, the DIHR Optima offers outstanding washing results and hygiene, along with flexibility,” he says. “For example, heavily soiled utensils can be washed followed by glassware, as clean wash water is used on both washes.”
Additionally, the range offers four wash cycles which feature a partial drain on each cycle, meaning that cooler, dirty water from the bottom of the wash tank is pumped out at the end of each wash cycle, making space for the hot, fresh water from the final rinse to come in from the top.
“This system is more efficient than machines that feature a conventional overflow system,” says Kuhner. “The four partial drain cycles offer speed of use along with outstanding economies in water and chemical use.”
He added that the Optima range also features a thermal disinfection model, while the 500 line is available with an optional steam heat recovery system.
DIHR is based in Treviso, Italy, and describes itself as the largest warewashing manufacturer in the Ali Group.
