Die-Pat hails long-serving sales chief


Die-Pat Divisions has raised a glass to national sales manager Paul Brander, who celebrated 30 years of service with the company on 1 September.

Directors at the catering hardware components specialist last week held an informal lunchtime BBQ to honour Brander’s achievement and present him with a card and champagne.

Die-Pat’s founder, Kath Gleghorn, was also present and offered her thanks for his dedication.

Speaking on behalf of the directors, financial director Tracey Williams, said: “The directors are extremely pleased to celebrate Paul’s 30 years at Die-Pat and look forward to celebrating the next 30 years — retirement is not compulsory — during which we are positive Paul will continue to coach our younger team members and pass on the depth of his knowledge and experience of the catering industry so that we can service our customers new and old.”

During his three decades at the Daventry-based firm, Brander has been part of three factory moves and seen the company develop from a small die-caster of aluminum legs, brackets and feet to a complete source for catering equipment hardware through both supplier sources and own-brand products.

“During my time with the company I have had the privilege to get to know many different people in the catering equipment industry, and have gained some great friends and colleagues, hopefully the next few years will allow me to get a few more,” he said.

Die-Pat has supplied of specialised catering equipment spares and plumbing components into the foodservice industry for the past 45 years.
