CEDA has released its quarterly distributor sales survey results for the period from August to October.
This shows that almost half of members in the association, who provide professional design, specification, installation and service to foodservice operators, had a better sales period in the third quarter of this year when compared to the same timeframe in 2014.
The precise figures were 43.33% with better sales, 35% with the same sales and 21.67% with worse sales.
Adam Mason, CEDA director general, commented: “As well as an encouraging sales performance in the third quarter of 2015, we see the strong trend of hotels and restaurants generating the most enquiries for the majority of our members continuing.
“This ties in with some of the positive data and info recently presented to our members at the Southern Regional Meeting by CGA Peach and is another strand of good news for CEDA and the wider foodservice sector.”
