Catering Insight took a look back at the achievements of the UK catering equipment industry over the last 12 months with the Dealer’s Choice initiative.
We put a call out to senior distributor executives to find out what their favourite lockdown launches would be and nearly 300 were invited to demonstrate their ‘Dealer’s Choice’ for products in 11 categories.
In the storage category, 62% of dealers plumped for T&G Woodware’s square glass jars.
Suitable for lockdown café culture, T&G Woodware’s square glass jars with black lids will keep contents safe and fresh, use to display food, serve food and tidy food stations.
These glass jars complement the supplier’s range of crates and glass domes and boards, designed to keep food fresh and covered safely. T&G’s glass jars are also sustainable, as glass is a fully recyclable material which can save precious natural resources and reduce climate change.
The jars’ dimensions comprise 104mm in length, 104mm in width and 225mm in height. They each have a capacity of 1,600ml.
Operators can care for the jars by hand washing them in warm water with mild detergent. They are not suitable for hot liquids and not dishwasher safe.
With spring on its way and the closer the hospitality industry is to restrictions lifting, cafes and restaurants will be open for outdoor service, therefore sites can use the jars to assist in inviting customers back to enjoy a little alfresco café culture.
