Dealer feedback shapes new DC warewash range

DC Products is aiming to stamp its mark on the warewashing market with a new range of UK-designed equipment that it claims has been in the making for three years.

The Somerset-based outfit has rolled out a selection of glass and dishwashers that freshen up its offering in the category.

DC Products’ director, Bob Wood, said the company had consulted channel partners before designing the new range.

“We have listened to feedback from both dealers and end-users and created a range of machines in three categories — Economy, Standard and Premium — which we think will cater for the needs of all hospitality operators and provide them with a winning combination of reliability, performance and value for money,” he said.

The standard range includes the SD50, a 500m x 500mm basket machine that uses just 2.6 litres of water per cycle and features a wash tank size of 26 litres.

With a new innovative wash pump for increased washing pressure and a rinse thermo-lock to ensure the perfect rinse temperature, DC claims the SD50 is capable of producing “superb” results in just two minutes.

The machine also features a double skinned cabinet and door, easy clean filters, hydrodynamic basket slides and auto-dosing of chemicals.

DC Series has been manufacturing warewashing and ice making systems for more than 35 years and sells its products through a network of distribution partners.
