Warewashing supplier DC Products has named Robert Izard as the replacement for South East area sales manager Mike Davis, who recently retired from the company after giving more than 35 years’ service to the industry.
The firm said that while Davis’ shoes have proved hard to fill, it has finally found someone it believes can take over from where he left off.
Izard has been in the catering equipment sector for 25 years, working in regional sales manager roles for Moorwood Vulcan, Moffat and Enodis.
His last employer was Utensils, a catering equipment distributor that specifies and sells machines from DC among other foodservice brands.
“Knowing how good DC machines are has made this new position an exciting opportunity for me. I want to continue to expand sales further from the great base left by my predecessor Mike Davis,” commented Izard.
DC director Bob Wood said Izard would be expected to build on the company’s growth forecasts: “We are very excited that Robert’s joined us. He brings with him an extensive knowledge of the industry and we are confident it will be another successful year in the south east for DC Warewashers and Icemaking Systems.”
