C&C Catering Equipment confirmed this morning that Glen Crossland has joined the company as its new marketing manager.

The former Dawson marketing chief will be tasked with raising company awareness and further developing the distributor’s marketing and communications strategy.

Crossland spent four and a half years at Barnsley-based Dawson, where he was responsible for building the Ali Group brands that it represents in the UK market and played a key part in the growth of the company.

Peter Farrell, sales director at C&C, said: “We see this as a real coup that we have secured the services of Glen Crossland. Glen isn’t just a marketing manager; he is well-known and respected within our industry and has a wealth of knowledge, even at such a young age.”

Managing director, Peter Kitchin, added: “Glen will bring a wealth of valuable knowledge, experience and creativity to the team and we are elated to have him join our award-winning company. Glen is one of a number of new recruits who will be joining our ranks with more to follow in the New Year.”

Crossland said he was thrilled to take up the new role. “I’m ready for a new challenge and I’m sure the transition for me will be smooth and I can hit the ground running,” he said.

“I know the C&C team from my previous role, and to be given the chance to work alongside them flying the flag is enthusing to say the least.”
