Dawson Foodservice Equipment has confirmed its attendance at SCOTHOT 2013, where it plans to give Scottish dealers and customers their first glimpse of its Rendisk offering.

The company added the Ali Group Food Waste solution brand to its portfolio earlier in the year and says visitors to SCOTHOT will have the first opportunity to physically inspect the ‘Flex WasteDispo’ unit at work.

Managing director, Mike Butt, said Dawson’s move into the food waste equipment arena is proving extremely timely given current and impending legislation in Scotland, as well as developments in England and Wales.

“Impending and current legislation being driven by associations like Zero Waste Scotland and WRAP Wales is turning the heads of caterers and food service establishments in both the public and private sector forcing them to take the issue of food waste management very seriously,” he said.

“We urge people to speak to us and see how our solution not only meets the legislation but reduces food waste volume by a staggering 80%.”

SCOTHOT takes place at the SECC Glasgow on March 4-6.
