Dawson Foodservice Equipment has announced the appointment of Robert Wager to its technical sales team in a move designed to strengthen the market share of its Comenda brand.

Wager, who has built up experience of the industry with Meiko and Hobart, officially came on board this month according to Dawson. He will look after customers based in the north of the UK.

Responsibility for the south of the country, meanwhile, rests with existing Comenda warewash specialist Simon Wale.

Dawson views the appointment as being particularly significant given the forthcoming launch of a new range of ultra-low water and energy usage rack conveyor systems, including bespoke integrated handling systems.

Mike Butt, managing director of Dawson, stated: “These are really exciting developments which offer a fantastic new range of warewashing delivering market leading energy results along with a team of specialists to support our partners.”

Dawson said Wager’s role will involve developing end-user specification to drive through its distributor network and providing technical support on projects.
