Dan Loria is getting his teeth into the day to day requirements of his business development manager position at supplier, Grande Cuisine, after recently making the switch from competitor, Exclusive Ranges.
He is assisting with Grande Cuisine’s both sales and strategic operations, while also taking on the role as brand manager for Adventys in the UK. Adventys is one of three French cooking equipment brands the Milton Keynes-based firm supplies, along with Athanor and Capic.
Loria brought 16 years of experience to the role, having fulfilled remits ranging from warehousing to operations, sales and management within the foodservice equipment sector.
With knowledge of both modular and bespoke cooking elements, he has also overseen the implementation of projects and with high profile clientele across the UK.
Loria said he was enjoying the new role, which he took up in April. "Steve [Hobbs, Grande Cuisine’s MD] and I are looking strategically at production innovation, which is a new challenge for me," he said. "But at the same time I’m really excited to be developing our distributor client base as well as driving the brand strategy for the Adventys induction cooking equipment range."
Hobbs added that the appointment of Loria strengthens the company’s senior team: “Dan’s a welcome addition to the team. His experience in the sector, as well as with its challenges, innovations and markets is a huge boon to our approach – I look forward to sharing more about our delivered solutions soon.”
