Crocodile Catering Equipment has outfitted Glen Gorse Golf Club in Leicestershire with a new warewasher, following a previous visit to install a glasswasher.
Paul Leary, formerly of the two AA Rosette restaurant The Woodhouse, provides Glen Gorse Golf Club with food and works with Crocodile to specify the best equipment to maintain excellence in food and the highest standards of service.
Leary originally contacted Phil Keatley, a partner at Crocodile, to supply a glasswasher.
Keatley explained: “We put the first glasswasher, a Smeg CWG420SD-1, into Glen Gorse at the end of 2015, to replace an old machine that was only 3-4 years old, but with multiple faults and an external water softener.
“The Smeg model offered a compact solution, good design, quality engineering, in-built water softener and the ability to work from a standard supply.
“All this and a really competitive price ticked all the boxes for Paul Leary and his team.
“The feedback from Paul is that the Smeg glasswasher has performed perfectly, is using less consumables and less energy, all contributing to cost savings in the longer term.”
Several months down the line and Glen Gorse was having problems with its existing dishwasher and came to Crocodile for a solution.
Keatley referred them to a Smeg replacement in the shape of CWC520SD model.
The dishwasher with built-in water softener fitted into the old unit’s space and is said to have operated trouble-free and delivered great wash results.
Keatley commented: “I have worked closely with Smeg for a number of years and now only specify its warewashing equipment to my clients because of its quality and value for money.”
Crocodile Catering Equipment works across all sectors of foodservice and has a number of high profile clients including sports clubs Leicester Tigers and Leicester City Football Club.
