Crimson plans upgrade after Hesperia acquisition

Crimson Hotels will embark on a major facility upgrade after purchasing The Hesperia London Victoria hotel from its current owners.

The property, which was owned by Hesperia Hotels, includes one restaurant and bar, as well as 212 bedrooms.

Crimson said it is planning a “significant investment” to upgrade the existing facilities in preparation for a conversion of the property to Crimson Hotels’ second DoubleTree by Hilton. The company hopes to complete the work by January 2012.
