Crem’s EX3 espresso machines triumph in design award

The latest model in Welbilt brand Crem’s range of professional group espresso machines, the EX3, has been named a winner in the iF Design Award 2020.

Suited to any commercial outlet with a focus on a coffee offering, the EX3 has been designed to be stylish, fully customisable, and specified to cope with varying demands.

Anders Bäckström, field marketing manager for Crem UK and Ireland, commented on the win: “78 international design experts from more than 20 countries selected the élite winners from a list of over 7,000 entries, and from 56 nations. Crem is honoured that the EX3 was selected by the independent jury to be one of the best designed products in 2020 and thrilled that the high standards of construction and aesthetics that Crem instils across all is products, has been recognised by such a prestigious organisation.

“The EX3 is an extremely attractive and versatile professional espresso machine that can be fully customised to fit in with the outlet, either aesthetically through colour, finish and lights, or technically through electronics, boiler configuration and number of groups.”

Featuring Crem Tech technology for in cup quality, the EX3 is designed to deliver barista-quality espresso and comes with a cool touch wand for safety. It comes complete with robust hydraulics and a PID temperature control.

Crem’s EX3 project team and its close collaborator Nacar Design have to wait to be honoured with the rest of the iF winners in Berlin on 4 May 2020.
