Craig Barnett links up with Retigo to drive national sales

Retigo UK has appointed Craig Barnett as national sales manager as it continues to grow its team on the ground in the UK.

The Czech-based combi oven manufacturer is looking to expand its presence in the UK and Mr Barnett is seen as a key addition to the operation.

Aneta Juroskova, managing director of Retigo UK, said the brand is focused on achieving organic growth.

“I am delighted to welcome Craig on board, who has incredible drive and is very experienced. He will fit perfectly into our team,” she said.

Mr Barnett began his career in the catering industry in 2004 as an engineer. He has held service management, business development and senior management roles during his time in the sector with companies such as Newco, Meiko and C&C Catering Engineers.

For the last 18 months, Mr Barnett has been a self-employed consultant for Ceda where he was tasked to grow the membership and strengthen the relationship between distributors and partner suppliers.

Mr Barnett said: “I am extremely happy and very excited for the future with Retigo. It is a great reliable product, with excellent after-sales technical service back-up. With my past experience and industry knowledge, I am sure I can deliver outstanding results for Retigo.”

He also said he wished to place on record his gratitude to the Ceda team following his work there.

“I would like to especially thank to Adam Mason and Ceda for their support in the last two years, which has helped me to stay in the industry and get this amazing opportunity,” he said.

Mr Barnett will start his new role at Retigo UK in early December 2022.
