Course helps equipment firms figure out finance

An organisation that specialises in providing SMEs with access to experienced finance directors is to hold a special training course for catering equipment companies.

The ‘Focused Finance for Non Finance Directors and Managers’ training programme, run by Halagen and organised by CESA, is deliberately structured around the needs of businesses operating in the UK catering equipment sector.

The course will take place on Thursday 18 April in London and give attendees a full-day session on how to effectively read, understand and use the key financial statements, as well as the essential steps to take to improve profitability, cash performance and sustained business growth.

Those who take part will also be entitled to a three-hour follow-up facility with an experience finance director to discuss their own particular needs.

Tunbridge Wells-based Halagen’s trainers are all experienced CFOs with a background in combining financial and business know-how.

The programme costs £125 for CESA members and £150 for non-members, excluding VAT.
