Dumfries and Galloway Council is inviting tenders for the provision of concept designs, supply and installation of commercial catering equipment for properties within its portfolio.
The contract is scheduled to run for four years and is expected to be worth around £250,000 per annum, although the precise value is not guaranteed.
The first tranche of works will be awarded as part of the tender evaluation, and then this evaluation will be used determine the four operators who will be appointed to the framework.
The contract is due to kick off on April 1 next year.
Lot 1 of the tender involves the kitchen refurbishment of St Joseph’s College, which is one of the largest schools in Dumfries with almost 700 pupils.
The council has a budget of £90,000 for the project and says the work must be carried out during next year’s school summer holiday in time for the new academic term.
