Lightware specialist Utopia has provided famous UK soap opera Coronation Street with a tableware and barware upgrade for the Viaduct Bistro on the show.
Josh Rammell, marketing manager at Utopia, said: “The people at Corrie were a pleasure to deal with. They had researched the market and knew what they were looking for. I’ve got to say, we’re all chuffed to bits to see our products getting used by the stars!”
The Bistro took two cocktail glassware designs: Big Top from Nude features stylish ribbed glasses with heavy bases, while from the glamorous Hayworth collection the Bistro took flute, martini and cocktail glasses.
For the tableware they chose an original on trend design. The Raw White collection features high-sided coupe plates with contrasting colours and textures, a white gloss with a raw finish, which are designed to add warmth and depth to the table.
Rammell added: “The products chosen are perfect for this environment, laid back but with style and quality.
“The Raw collection’s gloss pairs well with a variety of dishes and the unfinished look on the outside blends with the Viaduct Bistro’s decor. Hayworth’s optical design means it catches the eye while also blending into a fast-paced environment.”
