CDG’s design for the new At-Bristol cafe.

Catering Design Group (CDG) has landed four new contracts that will deliver almost £1m to its top line.

The projects include a complete refurbishment of the café and food hall facilities for the Mayor of London at City Hall, King’s Bruton, Our Lady’s Abingdon and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Returning for their second project at City Hall in London, CDG will undertake a complete refurbishment of the restaurant and back-of-house facilities and create a new coffee bar to provide greater service flexibility and an improved food presentation style.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), based in London, will undergo a full design and refurbishment to improve the back-of-house operation, incorporating a new finishing island and the installation of energy efficient equipment.

King’s Bruton, an independent boarding and day school, has appointed CDG to complete a full design and build of its back-of-house facilities, together with a full refurbishment of its dining areas. The new design aims to improve the flow around the spaces, whilst also delivering a refreshingly new look and feel for staff and pupils. An upgrade to back-of-house will see the inclusion of new preparation areas, a cold store and potwash.

Our Lady’s Abingdon has bought in the CDG to bring an urban, industrial feel to the school, which was founded in 1860.  The project will include the addition of a new servery counter, feature lighting and flooring, together with bespoke furniture and a fixed seating area.
