Consultants shocked by FCSI UK closure


Professional and allied members of the FCSI UK and Ireland were today digesting the news that the branch will be disbanded after Christmas.

Emails were circulated to members yesterday evening detailing an extraordinary chain of events in which the EAME board of the FCSI “voted unanimously” to terminate the UK’s affiliation.

The move comes after UK&I chairman Andrew Etherington and vice chairman David Bentley travelled to Germany for a meeting with EAME executives earlier this week to discuss UK requests for clearer benefits and value for money.
