Comenda has whipped the covers off of what it is terming the company’s “most important product development of all time”.
The Ali Group firm, which is managed by Dawson, has created a range of compact rack dishwashers that it believes will be “turn the heads” of dealers, consultants and operators.
Comenda insists the new AC2 range is a huge step-up on what it has delivered previously, offering water reduction by up to 33%, energy reduction by up to 40% and detergent reduction by up to 50%.
Products within the AC2 portfolio will contain a special energy management system – or ‘energy panel’ – which will support Comenda’s energy and water claims by measuring usage in real time.
The series contains machines that can handle anything from 70 to 220 racks per hour.
Dawson’s managing director, Mike Butt, says the firm is “excited” about the efficiency gains that the range has been created to deliver, giving customers the peace of mind that their dishwasher is performing in the correct way with significant reductions in water, energy and detergents.
“More importantly, we are now able to guarantee these numbers with our new Comenda energy monitoring panels which have been implemented to give the customer a full view of what their dishwasher is consuming on a daily, hourly or cycle basis,” he says. “We are taking away the grey areas and marketing hype, and replacing it with a product that will deliver without the smoke and mirrors.”
