Hampshire-based supplier of air conditioning and refrigeration services, Cold Control, has won the Contractor of the Year Award at this year’s RAC Cooling Awards.
Now in its 15th year, the RAC Cooling Awards reward the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, recognising firms that provide exemplary service and outstanding performance.
Cold Control operations director Lee Grant commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded RAC Contractor of the Year. Being recognised as one of the best in the country is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the service and staff we have employed throughout the years.”
RAC editor, Andrew Gaved, added: “Once again the industry has surpassed itself with its innovation, commitment and drive, in the face of all kinds of Brexit turbulence.
“On top of that, our winners have all had to justify their achievements in the heat of our face-to-face round too, so they should be rightly proud. Let’s face it, we make it tough – but it’s what makes the Cooling Awards so sought-after.”
Furthermore, Cold Control’s trainee engineer, Ethan Lupton, was also announced as runner-up in the Student of the Year category, showcasing Cold Control’s ongoing commitment to developing new talent.
