Clear Cool can now provide a hygiene station.

Clear Cool, a division of the Newcastle-based Rudd Group, has launched two new products aimed at supporting the hospitality sector out of lockdown.

MD Nick Rudd has sourced both a hygiene station and an ozone generator from a European supplier and has exclusivity to import the products into the UK.

Both units are available via the refrigeration and warewasher supplier’s traditional rental route as well as to purchase.

The hygiene station is constructed from stainless steel coated in antibacterial paint to repel any virus or bacteria. It features adjustable mountings so different brackets for equipment can be placed at different heights, suitable for locations that may have lots of children such as schools. Or it can be configured with different bracket combination if desired.

The various formats include paper towel holders, hand sanitiser brackets, glove box attachments and a bin.

There is a distinct hygiene area for any venue, labelled for customers and employees to use.

Hygiene stations do not come with any of the consumables but Clear Cool can offer these at an additional cost. The company’s provision of this product is not tied to consumables, so prospective customers may use their current supplier for the consumables if they prefer.

The other introduction is an ozone generator. This creates an ozone layer to kill bacteria and viruses on all surfaces of a room and in the atmosphere.

The portable unit can be used in multiple rooms and covers 2,000ft2 and the unit has a 3 hour timer facility.

Two sets of ceramic ozone plate parts in the ozone generator can be used for a total of 6,000 hours.

Clear Cool has 500 hygiene station units and 250 ozone generators in the UK, with several thousand more of each available from the manufacturer with a 7-10 day lead time.

Orders can be placed online, with hygiene station delivery options comprising a 2-day courier delivery for flat packed units for self-assembly or a Clear Cool technician can deliver, assemble and install the unit, available with a lead time of up to 14 days. The ozone generator can be supplied in a 7-day delivery timeframe.
