Blackpool-based distributor CKS Catering Equipment has been mildly impacted by the collapse of one of its clients, Preston Guild Hall.
The Lancashire theatre was placed into administration last month and declared insolvent in July.
The Manchester branch of The Debt Advisor Limited is acting as the administrator in this case and recently released a full financial report detailing that the venue owed more than £4.5m in debt.
CKS was among the creditors, but fortunately the debt owed was limited to £3,902.27.
It is not known what work this sum relates to, though the distributor had worked with Preston Guild Hall previously to install the kitchen at its former onsite cafe, Leaf or Bean.
The report also revealed that the theatre’s winding up petition was triggered by male stripper group The Dreamboys.
The venue closed in May, with Preston City Council taking back ownership in June, following a dispute over unpaid business rates.
Former owner Simon Rigby bought the building from the council in 2014 for £1, pledging to invest £1m.
