Wolverhampton City Council is looking to source a range of commercial catering equipment as part of a £320,000 budget it has to spend on new kit.
The council has issued a contract notice for the supply of industrial catering equipment, which it intends to purchase on an ad-hoc basis over the next four years.
Items covered in its wishlist include ovens, ranges, mixers, tables, freezers, refrigerators and dishwashers.
The kit will be supplied to sites that the council looks after in Wolverhampton and Walsall, with suppliers being given a deadline of 27th June to submit their tenders.
In the notice it issued, the council said that it envisages the number of suppliers in the framework agreement to total seven.
Initial lots set out in the notice include gas steaming ovens, gas convection ovens, mobile hot cupboards, mixing machines, solid shelf racking, dishwashers and a range of commercial refrigeration equipment.
