The award is open to both traditional distributors with e-commerce capabilities and online-only distributors.

This year it also introduced product configurator tools for Lincat Panther hot cupboards, which are designed to enable end users to find products quickly and easily. With a Google Certified Shops Accreditation, the dealer prides itself on providing an exceptional after-sales service, as well as the best possible initial service and shopping experience.
CEDA member Cater-Kwik’s tagline is ‘internet prices with traditional service’, and this is a motto it sticks to. Continually evolving its web presence to offer better value products and delivery services, the Cumbria-based firm is also investing offline to make this happen, purchasing a new local building to house extra warehousing facilities and improve delivery times. The dealer has consistently expanded since it began in 1994 and uses its experience to offer its customers the right kit advice.
Hayley Dean has spent her first 9 months in charge of CS by ensuring it has the infrastructure in place to be able to offer a complete service to its customers, whether that is through sales or customer service. Continuing to grow, the dealer recently completely rebuilt its website to be mobile friendly, introduced an intelligent search facility, advanced cart tracking and streamlined the checkout process. The firm prides itself on offering a service beyond that expected of an online dealer.
For the last 12 months Shop Equip has developed and focused on its efficiencies for order processing and telecommunications. This included introducing a new VOIP telecommunication system earlier in the year to helps direct its customers to the internal team best placed to assist. Furthermore, it integrated its ecommerce and ERP solutions and upgraded its dedicated web server and ecommerce platform this year to cope with its ever-increasing web traffic and to reduce security vulnerabilities.
The electronic vote to choose the winner will open on Monday 31 October, when senior supplier representatives will receive an e-mail invite to participate.
