CHR Equipment has landed an order for five of its own-label cooking ranges from Manchester House, a new restaurant opening in May from one of the North West’s leading chefs.
The venue, in the Spinningfields area of Manchester, is a partnership between Michelin-starred Aiden Byrne and restaurant and bar operator Living Ventures.
Four British-built CHR Eco-Chef units will be installed to service the 70-cover fine dining restaurant on level two, while the fifth unit will be sited in the 10-seat development kitchen in phase two, also doubling up as a private dining area.
“We have known Aiden for a while and he asked us to come and have a look at the site and put our thoughts and ideas on paper,” said Paul Neville, sales director of CHR. “We won the contract primarily for our ideas — not costs — our approach to sustainable issues, and our proven ability to understand the brief and operational know-how.”
Manchester House will also feature an 80-seat private member club and reception bar serving champagne and canapés, all with panoramic views over the Manchester skyline.
Byrne hopes the suites will help him achieve his ambition to bring the City its first Michelin star since 1974.
CHR’s bespoke suites, which contain built-in smart metres that track energy consumption, combine induction hobs, planchas and multi cooking vessels all specified to fit in with Manchester House’s interior.
