C&C Catering Engineers confirmed today that one of the biggest maintenance contracts it manages has been renewed for a further three years.
The Flintshire-based company said it had been given the green light to continue fixing kitchen equipment for Cheshire East Schools until at least 2016.
The agreement involves providing repair and maintenance service for 120 schools across the region.
With an annual service undertaken on each site and the number of call-outs for repairs in both kitchens and canteens ranging from one to 10 per day, the company said the contract was a “busy and significant one”.
C&C director, Julie Dewar, said she was “delighted” that the contract had been renewed having worked with Cheshire East Schools for the last four years.
“Throughout this time, we have built an excellent working relationship with Cheshire East Council and are extremely pleased to be presented with the opportunity to continue working with them for a further three years,” she said.
When announcing the tender earlier this year, Cheshire East Borough Council said the value of the contract was worth between £310,000 and £360,000 over the full term.
