All change at the top of Nisbets

Catering equipment supply giant Nisbets is switching its management executives, with MD Paul McMahon stepping down and Klaus Goeldenbot joining as CEO.

Beginning his Nisbets role on 4 September, Goeldenbot has spent 15 years at global electronic and industrial components company RS Components, where his most recent role was president of the £1.2bn turnover company, which has operations in 28 countries.

Prior to this he spent 10 years with Wϋrth, a world leader in assembly and fastening materials gaining cross functional experience across all departments including logistics, marketing and his biggest passion, sales.

Commenting on his new position, Goeldenbot stated: “I am very excited to be working with everyone at Nisbets to write the next successful chapter of the Nisbets story. Building upon the great foundation created by Andrew Nisbet and Paul McMahon, we will continue to deliver exceptional customer service and constantly innovate to add value to our customers and suppliers to further expand Nisbets as a global player in the catering industry.”

Since McMahon joined the firm in April 1998, he has driven a huge turnover increase from £19.6m to the latest total of £321.1m for 2016.
