CFSP seminar on its way to Cannock

Foodservice consultant Doug Fryett will lead the CFSP summer seminar at First Choice's Cannock headquarters.

The 2018 CFSP summer seminar will take place at the home of First Choice Group.

The two-day seminar starts on Tuesday 19 June at Kingswood Lakeside in Cannock, Staffordshire. It will be led by foodservice consultant Doug Fryett.

Mr Fryett will also give a short presentation on how CFSP graduates can mentor their work colleagues by delivering the new Principles of Foodservice programme, which is designed as an introduction for newcomers to the industry.

A spokesman for CESA, which launched the CFSP programme in 2009, said: “The programme content and benefits are relevant to manufacturers, consultants, distributors and operators.

“Almost 500 representatives from all four groups have become accredited in the UK since the programme’s launch.”

Thousands are already benefitting from the industry accredited qualification and this event will encourage thousands more to boost their career prospects and earning potential.

CFSP is an internationally recognised and promoted course that is delivered locally with content relevant to the national market. In Europe, it also operates in Sweden and Austria with further development and translation work underway. The programme is also established in the Australia, Mexico, Singapore, and USA.

Places are £550 plus VAT for CESA members, CEDA members, Cedabond members and FCSI full members. All other non-member places are £800 plus VAT.
