CESA to honour food service superstars

The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) is preparing to honour 25 food service professionals who have made major contributions to the industry.

The trade body has spent the best part of a year conceiving the ‘CESA Foodservice Order of Merit’, which will be awarded to end-users and suppliers that have made their mark in the market.

“These are people who have helped advance the hospitality market and who have often given their time freely. At CESA we feel it’s time the industry recognised them,” says Mick Shaddock, chair of CESA.

Shaddock said the identity of the first Order of Merit recipients would be revealed at a special industry breakfast at Hotelympia on Monday 27th February.

“The recipients of the awards are drawn from across the industry — operators and suppliers, caterers and manufacturers — but all of them, crucially, movers and shakers,” added Shaddock.
