The Titans of Industry session is proving to be a draw for the 2018 CESA Conference, taking place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park on 14-15 November.
The session’s three participants are Klaus Goeldenbot, group CEO of Nisbets, Steve Snower, CEO of Parts Town and Alberto Zanata, CEO of Electrolux Professional. They represent a cross section of the supply chain, being leaders in the distributor, spare parts supplier and equipment manufacturer networks respectively.
The main focus of their discussion will be the impact of digitalisation. For example, Goeldenbot will consider digitalisation and the value of the human touch. He’ll also look at the importance of simplicity and speed for success in the supply chain.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Evolving in a Disruptive Environment’. CESA director Keith Warren commented: “Digitalisation is having a huge impact on our industry.
“According to one recent study, it will drive more disruption in the next 5 years than industry has experienced in the last 20. Our ‘Titans’ will look at how it has changed things, and what will happen in the future, from the impact of connectivity on design and service to the effect of the latest technology on the delivery of products.”
Delegates can book to attend just the business day or a full 2-day package including both the informal dinner (14 November) and the gala dinner (15 November), as well as golf or another activity.
The event is open to all foodservice industry professionals, including equipment manufacturers, suppliers and dealers, consultants and operators. CESA members receive a discount.
