CESA has revealed additional details about the line-up of speakers at its 2012 conference in November.
The industry gathering, which takes place at Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire on 15-16 November, will feature a fascinating mix of discussions from business leaders within and beyond the catering equipment community.
The conference will be led by Tanya Beckett, a business editor most often seen reporting from the USA on BBC World Business.
Other star speakers include futurist consultant Rohit Talwar, training and skills development leader Sir Garry Hawkes and Fresh Montgomery MD Toby Wand.
Rohit Talwar is an award winning futurist speaker, entrepreneur, specialist advisor and strategic change agent and the founder of the research and consultancy organisation Fast Future. He was profiled as one the top ten global future thinkers by the UK’s Independent newspaper.
Sir Garry Hawkes, CBE, is the former chair and chief executive of Gardner Merchant, a director of THF Plc and director general of Sodexo Group. Sir Garry has chaired the Business Services Association, National Training Organisations National Council, the Basic Skills Agency and the Guidance Accreditation Board. In 1999 he was awarded a CBE and in 2009 he was awarded a knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his contribution to vocational training and business.
Toby Wand was first involved in the hospitality market in 2003 when he launched Taste of London’. He went on to run Hotelympia, Hospitality, and the Speciality and Fine Food Show amongst others for several years. He was recently made managing director of the now wholly owned Montgomery business called Fresh Montgomery.
