The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) has honoured 25 food service professionals for their contributions to the industry.
CESA unveiled its ‘Foodservice Order of Merit’ after spending the best part of the year whittling down the list of potential candidates.
Recipients are drawn from across the industry, with several names from the distribution and consultant worlds making the cut.
This includes FCSI chiefs David Bentley and Jonathan Doughty, and CEDA chairman Iain Munro.
Mick Shaddock, chair of CESA, said the Foodservice Order of Merit pays tribute to those that have played a key part in the market’s development.
“These are people who have helped advance the hospitality market and who have often given their time freely. At CESA we feel it’s time the industry recognised them,” he said.
