CEP to take full responsibility for warranty calls

CEP’s Cook Professional lines will be covered by the new warranty policy.

Catering Equipment Professional (CEP) has changed its warranty provision and the way in which warranty is managed, which it feels will benefit both distributors and end users.

Every CEP product supplied on or after 2 January is now covered by a 2 year parts and labour warranty.

In addition, the supplier will take full responsibility for the management of the warranty process. Whereas to date distributors have been encouraged to place warranty service calls directly with CEP-nominated third party providers, from 2 January warranty service calls are to be placed with CEP Service, which will manage every aspect of the process.

CEP Service will be responsible for both products supplied before January 2018 and still covered by the previous 1 year warranty and products supplied in 2018 which will be covered by the 2 year warranty.

  1. Looks very interesting but surely the people who approved the photo should have checked . It would appear that the canopy doesnt conform to DW172 as it doesnt look to cover the combi by the minimum 600mm (dont forget that is to the inside of any drip channel not the external valance) .So surely this site is not a working kitchen so wont have any warranty issues ?

    1. Hi David, this is at CEP’s showroom in the new First Choice headquarters, so it’s not a full working kitchen.
