Buying consortium Cedabond is to celebrate its own and its members’ successes at this year’s annual awards.
Honours will be presented at the company’s forthcoming AGM, Suppliers Conference and the CEDA/Cedabond Networking Dinner, on Thursday 26 April at the Hilton St George’s Park Hotel in Burton Upon Trent.
There will be four awards this year and the shortlisted nominees are:
Most improved member 2017: Shop-Equip Ltd, Allsop & Pitts Ltd and JDS Catering Equipment Ltd.
Most improved supplier – light equipment: Zodiac Stainless Products Co, Churchill China and Thunder Group UK Ltd.
Most improved supplier – heavy equipment: Maidaid Halcyon, IMC (Imperial Machine Company) and Middleby UK.
The recipient of the Bob McNab charity award, for the member or supplier who has made an outstanding contribution to charity, will also be announced on the night.
Chairman and executive director Phil Martin commented: “Cedabond enjoyed yet another year of double digit growth in 2017 with turnover just under £80m.
“The many changes that we have made within our operations have allowed us to make impressive savings, which we are pleased to be able to share among our members and suppliers. Our awards are yet another way to show our gratitude for the continued support of our members and suppliers and we wish them all luck on the night.”
