Cedabond hits record high

Cedabond, the largest buying consortium for foodservice equipment in the UK, is top of the charts having reported a number of record-breaking achievements in its just-published 2014 Chairman’s Report.

The company, which provides access to over 60 catering equipment suppliers, has announced a 37.6% leap in turnover compared to last year, with revenue returned to members up by 43%.

While the monthly turnover record was broken twice, the highest monthly turnover by a single supplier hit £600,000, and in a single month four suppliers reached £500,000. Also, in just one month Cedabond paid its suppliers over £4,000,000, and in another, one member paid an unprecedented £900,000 through the Cedabond Central Payments System.

“2014 was a fantastic year for Cedabond,” said executive director, Phil Martin. “Growth in all areas of the business is further evidence that the Cedabond proposition is gaining traction across all sectors of the industry.”

The consortium has also launched a new interactive website which details news and beneficial offers for members.
