Cedabond adds nine dealers to its ranks

Nine dealers have joined Cedabond this year.

After a tough year for the entire hospitality industry, catering equipment buying consortium Cedabond is continuing to expand.

Nine dealer members in total have joined the group throughout 2021.

One of these is B F Engineering Services (BFES), with the Hampshire-based distributor offering specialist design consultancy, products, project management, installation, scheduled maintenance programmes and reactive emergency services to commercial catering establishments.

Another is Shropshire-headquartered, Border Janitorial Supplies, which bought the Crystal Catering Equipment brand earlier this year. Border is a family-owned business with 35 years of experience in cleaning and hygiene products distribution. It offers a full product range for catering hygiene, disposables, kitchen equipment, bar supplies, housekeeping and laundry.

The third 2021 joiner is Burlington Healthcare Supplies. Established in 2011, the company is based in East Yorkshire and covers Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East region. It offers a range of healthcare supplies, catering essentials and stationery products as well as an independent waste collection service, dealing with all aspects of clinical, hazardous, sharps and pharmaceutical waste.

Next to sign up was Catercall, a specialist in catering equipment maintenance, installation and safety certification, offering a nationwide field-based engineering team with service desk and technical support and full commercial catering gas certification.

Preston-based CHR Equipment is now also part of Cedabond. The distributor specialises in commercial catering equipment design, procurement, project management and after sales support to the UK foodservice industry, offering a full service approach from consultation and design, procurement and project management to a comprehensive after sales package.

Cumbria’s Lakes Catering Maintenance is another joiner, offering complete commercial kitchen solutions. Its team includes ‘in house’ engineers and experienced designers who design, install and service commercial catering equipment in the Lake District.

While Northampton-based Midlands Catering Equipment is the seventh addition this year, and it specialises in supplying catering equipment and service and maintenance requirements to the education and hospitality sector.

A further buying group newcomer is Taurus Commercial, a family-run business with over 30 years’ experience in the commercial laundry and catering industry. It offers nationwide coverage with service engineers who are fully trained and gas certified. Taurus caters for a range of sectors, including care homes and holiday parks.

Rounding out the nine newbies is WilcoxBurchmore, with the Ruislip-based distributor specialising in designing and creating commercial kitchens and dining areas. It has transformed schools, universities and corporate workplaces, to create appealing environments that make preparing, delivering and eating food a pleasure.
