Maidaid sales director Rob Wager collected the CEDA Supplier Award 2021 trophy from the association’s chair, Kirstin Hatherley-Bramwell.

This year’s CEDA Grand Prix Awards, held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate on 25 November, featured just one supplier category.

Usually several suppliers are recognised in the accolades, but the trade body felt that supply chain relationships have been crucial in the last 18 months and so this year it focused on one category only.

Therefore the CEDA Supplier Award 2021 rewarded and recognised the supplier which best supported members during the Covid-19 period.

CEDA members voted the winner to be warewasher specialist Maidaid Halcyon, with sales director Rob Wager coming to the stage to collect the trophy.

The supplier beat shortlisted Blue Seal, Falcon Foodservice Equipment, Hobart UK and Mechline Developments to the accolade.

This also caps off a successful week for Maidaid, as it scooped victory in the Supplier of the Year – Service & Support category at last week’s Catering Insight Awards.
