Following its most recent board meeting, CEDA has made several strategic appointments designed to add additional expertise and more regional representation to the board.
The appointments include board director posts for Derek Maher, Crystaltech’s MD and Peter Baulch, head of technical south for Airedale SCCUK, plus Chris Keith, director of Sigma Catering Equipment who is now a co-opted member of the CEDA board representing the interests of members based in the north of England.
CEDA chairman Kevin Davis commented: “The new appointments to CEDA’s board come at a time when the association is delivering on its 22 for 2022 strategic vision, launched in April, to make it the focal point for foodservice equipment operators who need design, equipment, installation and service for their operations.
“Both Derek and Peter have huge expertise in technical advice and service support, and this adds to CEDA’s edge in technical areas which is more and more important to our members and their clients in improving their customer offer and operating efficiency.
“Finally, we are delighted to welcome Chris Keith from CEDA member Sigma Catering Equipment who will be a co-opted member of the board for the next year and who will use his knowledge and contacts to represent the interests of our northern membership.”
Keith added: “I am really pleased to be joining the CEDA board as a co-opted member to represent the members in the northern region. I’ve enjoyed my 2 years as regional chair and look forward to helping CEDA continue to deliver on the strategies promised to members at the last conference.”
Commenting on his CEDA board appointment Maher said: “I am indeed looking forward to being able to contribute to CEDA and help its members in every way that I can.”
