Following a pilot at the 2014 CEDA Conference the association is offering potential new members who come to the 2015 event a rebate of £295 per person on the cost of attending the Business Day on 24 April.
Those who are non-members will get a taste of the services and support that CEDA has to offer, plus advice on gaining more for their businesses with inspiration from the line-up of speakers.
Adam Mason, CEDA director general, added, “The CEDA Conference is a great ‘toe in the water’ for companies that would benefit from being part of the network of the best UK foodservice equipment companies that we represent. If they are successful in applying to join as members after the conference we will give them their Business Day attendance costs back.”
Last year WilcoxBurchmore took up the CEDA Conference offer after reading about it in Catering Insight. This is what Cathy Wilcox, co-founder and director of WilcoxBurchmore, had to say following the 2014 CEDA Conference: ‘I feel I must write to congratulate all involved with a truly superb conference.
“I was very impressed with the professionalism; from the double-sided lanyard name badges, to the top notch speakers who presented to us. The hotel choice was a great decision and they managed the whole operation very smoothly, but what really struck me was that CEDA and the team organising the conference had paid such attention to every detail.
“I’m happy to say that I’m now completing the application form and contacting suppliers/member for recommendations to accompany the completed form. Please pass my thanks – and highest praise – to all involved.”
