Last night’s CEDA Grand Prix Awards at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate saw Sprint Group crowned the winner of the Project Management Excellence category.

As a company, Sprint have supplied all Tortilla sites for a number of years, but this site was the first with the chain’s new internally appointed PM team and a new main contractor.

The client’s needs were met by Sprint by ensuring that the new management team and builder were given all the assistance they required to push the project over the line on a very tight program.

Historically there are items with the main servery counter that needs good communications and working together, Sprint and the builder enabled this to happen seamlessly. All other trades such as plumbers and electricians were in the same boat.

The projects was delivered with no snags and minimal extras which were carried out within the agreed timescale.

The other shortlisted entry in this category was Advantage Catering Equipment’s Elwick Place leisure destination fitout in Ashford, Kent.
