CEDA’s preparations for its 2013 annual conference are firmly underway, with the trade association set to welcome the industry to Scotland in seven weeks’ time.
This year’s event, held in conjunction with Cedabond and the FCSI, will take place at the prestigious Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews on April 11-12.
The theme for the business day is ‘The Art of War’ and will be relevant to catering equipment distributors and the future market.
Eminent speakers will provide an insight and forecast into the foodservice sector and beyond, while a specialist industry panel will participate in the popular ‘View from the Hill’ discussion and reflect on current market conditions.
A number of specialist keynote speakers will also be providing presentations on matters such as ‘What’s in store from the EU?’ and ‘Competing against the downturn’.
The business day will be rounded off by an entertaining presentation by top motivational speaker Jim Lawless, author of Taming Tigers.
The five-star Fairmont St Andrews Bay hotel is a sister to the Savoy Hotel London and boasts great views over two famous golf courses and the town of St Andrews.
