CDG trades strong on repeat orders

CDG directors Phil Howard, Steve Hutchings and Helen Davis have ensured that CDG has prospered with repeat business and referrals.

Daventry-based dealer Catering Design Group has reported strong relationships with its customers has helped the company to grow.

Commercial director Helen Davis commented: “80% of orders received in 2019 to date are repeat business or referrals – and that is key to our growth.

“Our strategy is to continue to build on the close and loyal relationships we hold with clients – and to be ourselves.

The distributor is one of the nominees in next week’s Catering Insight Awards, being held on Thursday 28 November at London’s Banking Hall. CDG is a finalist in the Distributor of the Year – Marketing & Strategy category, sponsored by Krupps.

Davis responded to the nomination, saying: “It is great to see our business development and marketing strategy recognised by our industry.

“We had a strong year last year, gaining 82 contracts across the hospitality, retail, leisure and education sectors, despite a challenging and highly competitive marketplace.”
