CDG brings in consultant after contract wins

Catering Design Group has appointed Gayle Swain as its new project consultant following a slew of wins in the education sector that have contributed to its need to expand.

Swain joins CDG from Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewer of brands such as Becks, Stella Artois and Budweiser, where she held the position of key account manager and had responsibility for four major leased pub clients.

In her new role she will be responsible for driving sales and increasing company turnover through new business opportunities.

CDG boss, Philip Howard, said: “Gayle joins us with over 20 years’ experience in the catering and hospitality industry and a proven track record in building strong client relationships. Her appointment will prove invaluable to us as we continue to grow organically and cement existing bonds with our clients.”

CDG said this week that it has grown the business it does in the education sector following recent contract wins that total more than £1.5m in value.

The company is involved with the design and installation of catering equipment at Rugby School in Warwickshire, Charterhouse School in Surrey, St. Gabriel’s Independent Day School for Girls in Berkshire, London Southbank University and the University of Chichester.
