Commercial Catering Spares (CCS) recently welcomed Mark Bloyce, Rational service manager UK, to the onsite Rational Training Centre it opened 4 months ago.
Bloyce described the centre as “a stunning set up” and was joined by his colleague Leonhard Ring, service manager Europe, and Rational’s UK training manager Trevor Lath, who sat in on the final day of a 3 day SCC WE combi oven course.
The training centre was opened in August after the unit next door to CCS’s current offices and warehouse became available. The facility has room to teach groups of up to 12 and a range of Rational equipment is available to be used.
Currently two courses are available, the 3 day SCC WE course which covers installation, CMP logic, SCC WE logic, service, maintenance, troubleshooting and gas technology, as well as a 1 day installation course.
CCS training manager Stuart Blane joined CCS in the summer to oversee the setting up of the unit and now leads the courses. With 18 years’ experience as a field service engineer as well as recently graduating with a Certificate in Education, he is fully qualified to support the engineers attending the courses.
Courses are already planned for the first 6 months of 2016.
