C&C Catering Equipment insists it continues to examine how it can provide higher standards of service to customers despite the pressure being felt on the sector.
The company was recently named Distributor of the Year – North of the UK during CI and FEJ’s Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week, with sales director Peter Farrell pictured above receiving the trophy at the company’s Cheshire HQ.
Mr Farrell said: “This is an award that means everything to our entire team at C&C Catering Equipment. We pride ourselves on our integrity, our attention to detail and our passion for what we do in this amazing industry.
“Even through these difficult times, we recognise areas within the business that need to be strengthened and that’s what we do – we must ensure that the service we offer to our clients is simply the best.”
After going into 2020 on the back of a record £22m turnover the year before, C&C has had to demonstrate its strength and resilience in challenging circumstances.
And while the downturn in project work has presented obstacles that would have been unheard of pre-Covid, it has maintained a healthy order book and completed numerous landmark schemes, including The Conwy Culture Centre in North Wales and Highgate School in London.
Additionally, it has recruited new expertise to its team to cope with demand for work in the capital.
Reflecting on the award win, Mr Farrell said: “To be recognised from within our industry for all the hard work and fantastic projects that we continue to deliver, is truly amazing, and when you are recognised for all the hard work, it makes it all worthwhile.
“We would like to thank each and every industry executive who placed their vote for C&C Catering Equipment as without the support of all our supply chain partners we cannot do what we do best.”
