CCS doubles space to cope with spares demand


Commercial Catering Spares (CCS) has expanded its operation by taking over more warehousing space.

The Lancashire-based spare parts supplier moved into its current premises two years ago and has now exercised an option to extend into a neighbouring unit.

CCS says the move will enable it to “double” the amount of available space it has to hold stock and provide it with room to bring in equipment from potential new brands in future. It should also help alleviate any issues with dispatching orders.

As well as giving it extra space to increase the range of parts it holds, CCS says it will now be able to stock larger quantities of fast-moving items from international brands that it serves.

With all the regulatory paperwork now signed off, CCS expects the work to integrate the two sites to start before the end of July. It said the project would not cause any disruptions to its current service.

CCS provides genuine spare parts for a wide range of cooking, warewashing, refrigeration and coffee making equipment, and operates a trade counter from its office in Heywood.
